BJP prepared over 17 lakh food packs during lock down

BJP Chandigarh unit under the guidance of their party president Arun Sood prepared more than 17 lakh food packets since the inception of their kitchens during the lock down. According to Arun Sood, the kitchens were instituted at the district level precisely one month ago on April 26 which proved handy to prepared 17 lakhs food packets. The kitchens were not only aimed to stop the migration of labourers from city but also cater the needs of those living in slums lost their jobs. Arun Sood thanked his party workers, allied NGOs and Administration in this mission. Nearly fifty kitchens are being supervised by respective district president who on an average caters 70-75 thousand packets to Civil and Supplies department who further distribute to needy ones. Party, through its helpline reached out to poor families.
