Lauds initiative of NGOs coming forward with such noble gestures

"The State Government is undertaking it's best possible efforts to combat the corona virus disease and would continue to do its best to provide top notch healthcare to the people in this time of crisis." These views were expressed here today by the Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu at the Civil Hospital, Phase - 6.The minister on the occasion handed over 100 Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to the Civil Surgeon, Mohali Dr.  Manjit Singh.The minister further added that the State Government is focussing on the containment plan to control the spread of corona virus and the plan includes Sanitization at regular intervals, regular contact tracing and sampling, awareness campaigns exhorting people to stay indoors and comply with the norms of curfew. He also said that strict action is also taken against anybody violating the regulations of curfew and putting the lives of others at risk.The 100 PPE Kits were donated to the hospital by the NGOs Joy Of Givinging and Mohali Helpers. Mr. Sidhu on the occasion also lauded the NGOs Joy of Living and Mohali Helpers for undertaking such a noble gesture in the interest of mankind. Among others present on the occasion included Mr. Manish Taneja and Mr. Davinder Singh from Joy of Living, and Dr. Sunny Singh Ahluwalia,  Mr. Kamalpreet Singh Bunny and Mr. Kamaljeet Singh from Mohali Helpers.
