Under the aegis of Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the Sant Nirankari Mission has contributed 50 lakh rupees each to the state relief funds to the states of Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakkhand, and Maharashtra, alongside of that of 5 crore rupees to the Prime Minister CARES Fund. All Chief Ministers and the Prime Minister expressed their gratitude to the Mission via tweets, and applauded its efforts towards this cause. The Sant Nirankari Mission and its administrative wings have been instrumental in reaching out to lakhs and lakhs of Indian brothers and sisters who have been affected by the complete lockdown in the country owing to the global spread of the Corona Virus. As soon as the PM announced lockdown across the country on the 24th of March 2020, SNM realised that the underprivileged sections of the society would be in need of basic food items for their families. The Sant Nirankari Mandal sent message to all its 95 zones and 3000 plus branches across India to facilitate and provide food/ration to the needy families. From that day onwards, the devotees of the Nirankari Mission and the volunteers of the Sant Nirankari Sewadal have been providing dry ration and langar to lakhs of people on a daily basis. As an approximation, around 100000 people are being served freshly prepared langar every day. Various other branches in major and even smaller towns of India have been contributing in some way or the other, by distributing tea and cookies, some preparing langar and some offering dry ration. Many branches are also serving meals, refreshments and tea to the frontline warriors including police and health workers, in their respective areas. The branches of the Mission, pan-India, have also distributed around 100000 packets of dry ration to the needy families. The Jabalpur branch has prepared and handed over 4200 masks to the collector of the city.

The SantNirankari Charitable Foundation is contributing to this cause in several ways. The Social Welfare branch of the Mission is offering health advisories and help to people through a helpline. Along with Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, several other hospitals, medicos and the doctors from the Mission are participating in this endeavour. The SantNirankari Charitable Foundation has also given 10000 PPE Kits to the Delhi Government for the doctors and medical staff. The foundation has also been providing ration and other necessities to migrant workers. Besides, the schools run under the aegis of the charitable foundation have been offered to be turned into quarantine centres. The charitable foundation has also come forward to donate blood during this global medical emergency.Following this, the Mission has also offered to the state governments to convert its SatsangBhavans all over the country into quarantine centres, if need be. In compliance with this, the Yamuna Nagar Bhavan is already being used as a quarantine centre. The contributions and efforts of the Mission are being applauded by several sections of society, including the masses, various social and religious sects, police department, local municipalities, state and the central governments. The Mission, owing to its ideology of spiritual awareness, has been working towards social upliftment, relief and rehabilitation for the past 90 years. Much like the former Satgurus of the Mission, Satguru Mata SudikshaJi is alsotaking this Mission of love and brotherhood forward in the same manner. Guiding the devotees, Satguru Mata SudikshaJi has stated that we are to sincerely adhere to health agencies and government’s directives during serving the various sections, during this period. All duties are to be performed following the directive of social distancing, wearing masks and gloves and regular use of sanitiser. Satguru Mata Ji says that all sisters and brothers in this world are one family and to serve them is our duty. With this, we are not doing a favour to anyone. Satguru Mata Ji added that the Mission pledges to stand with the nation, prays that the present crisis gets eradicated soon, and there’s happiness all over.
