A 78 year old co-morbid woman patient hailing from Mundi Kharar has tested positive for corona virus after death. The said woman was admitted to the emergency ward in the Civil Hospital, Kharar and died on 7th April, 2020.The Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan said that her body was cremated in accordance with the protocol. He further said that the primary contacts of the deceased woman have been traced and would be subjected to sampling.Now, the total number of positive cases in the district has reached 38 with 2 deaths. Apart from this, 5 patients have been cured with active cases count standing at 31.
