Prof.Soz Re-appointed JK Congress President

Putting all the conjecture to rest, Congress high command re appointed Prof. Saif ud din Soz as the president of the party in Jammu and Kashmir. Soz would hold the charge for the second consecutive term. Appointed for the first time in 2008, Soz has already led the part In J&K for almost five years. “This is a very big party and such things do happen. We shouldn’t overplay it.” Soz told 5 Dariya News . He while referring to the recent accusations and counter accusations between Senior Ministers Taj Mohi ud din and Sham Lal Sharma, Soz said, “ I will call both the ministers and see what the facts are. I am sure the differences would be sorted out amicably.” Said Soz. He also said that he received greeting calls from those party men also ,whom people alleged were, against him.Soz further said that he was delighted to enjoy the trust of AICC President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi and said that their faith in him has strengthened his will and commitment to see party flourishing in all the three regions of the state in future also. “ I would like to thank Sonia Ji and Rahul Ji for reposing faith in me.” Said the visible delighted Soz.Refusing to rule out a possibility of contesting the 2014 elections independently, Prof. Soz said, that his party would weigh all the possibilities before taking a final call on the matter.” Whatever we decide, we would certainly keep our own interests on priority.” Soz added.
