COVID-19 Alert: 33 persons discharged after completing two-week Quarantine Period in Baramulla

Authorities in Baramulla today discharged 33 students including 23 in Sopore and 10 in Baramulla, who were shifted into administrative quarantine upon their return two weeks  ago, after successfully completing their 14-day quarantine period.In Baramulla, the students were shifted into a local hotel namely Samarkand who had returned from different  places within and outside the country. Similarly, the students in Sopore were shifted to Sub-district Hospital Sopore who returned from the affected regions.Assistant  Commissioner Revenue, Baramulla,  Mohammad Rafiq Lone, oversaw their discharge and their transportation. Other supervising officers including Medical Superintendent,  Associated Hospital, Baramulla Dr Syed Masood were among other concerned functionaries present on the occasion.These groups were under thorough medical supervision  throughout their quarantine period and were discharged after clearance from doctors.On the occasion, the students expressed satisfaction over the facilities provided to them  during the quarantine period. They were asked by the concerned experts to act as ambassadors in their respective areas and aware the people about the necessary precautions  that needs to be taken to avoid any kind of eventuality.
