Call on toll free number 1077 for any help : Jai Ram Thakur

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur told here today that all necessary and effective measures were being taken to control coronavirus and to make the lockdown a complete success.He said that 1077 is the toll free number of disaster control rooms set up in all districts of the State, which were named as Emergency Operation Centers. He said that this number is operational round the clock and can be called from any mobile or landline number for any kind of assistance. He said that the government has ensured proper arrangements of food, shelter etc. for the needy people and any person residing in the state can call at 1077 for help. He said that calls from different parts of the State are being received on 1077, which were being responded promptly. He said that 6,336 slum dwellers in different parts of the State have been provided assistance in the form of ration today, after receiving calls on 1077.He said that uninterrupted supply of all essential items was being ensured and there was continuity in supply chain. He said that supply of essential items was being ensured in grocery shops so that common man does not face any problem. He said that the State had enough stock of food grains available in open market as well as in government godowns. He said that other goods like milk, bread, vegetables, medicines and masks are also available in the open market and petroleum products and LPG are available in government godowns.He said that the government is ensuring the proper supply of vegetables and fruits in the market and people are getting enough time for buying.Jai Ram Thakur said that today, supply of various essential items have been received in border districts of the State. He said that from 31st March to 2nd April, 1,46,013 cylinders of LPG in 486 vehicles, 27,83,060 liter of diesel / petrol in 249 vehicles, 10,11,857 liter and 27,955 crates of milk in 804 vehicles, 22,405 tonnes grocery items and 430 trays of eggs in 2,829 vehicles, 11,566 tonnes vegetables and fruits in 1,790 vehicles, 448 tonnes and 2,33,560 boxes of medicines and sanitizers in 676 vehicles and 6,041 tonnes of fodder in 555 vehicles have been supplied in six border districts of the State, viz: Bilaspur, Chamba, Kangra, Sirmaur, Solan and Una.
