PU Chandigarh VC calls on Governor

Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh called on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at Raj Bavan Shimla, today.It was a courtesy call. He also apprised the Governor that Panjab University has been incorporated for the purpose, among others, of making provision for imparting education in Arts, Science and the learned professions, and of furthering the advancement of learning, the prosecution of original research. He said that they offered teaching and research in many streams and would like to extend their teaching, research and training facilities for the benefit of students, research scholars, faculty members, entrepreneurs and industries of Himachal Pradesh. The Governor said that their proposal would be considered.
