COVID-19 : DDC Kulgam meets Auqaaf Committee, Traders Association

DDC Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat convened a meeting with Auqaaf Committee, Traders & Transport Association and members of civil society with regard to the spread of Corona Virus, here today.The DDC sought cooperation from all the stakeholders to help in preventing the spread of infection by following the advisories in letter and spirit.The meeting was attended by A-SP, ADC, ACR, ARTO, Tehsildars  and other concerned officials besides, Presidents of Auqaaf Committee and Trader’s Association.On the occasion, the participants were sensitized about their role in generating awareness among people. They were also informed about the measures which have been taken by the administration for prevention of the infection.The DDC asked the traders association to desist from profiteering and hoarding of masks and hand sanitizers, warning the defaulters of strict action under law.
