COVID-19 : DDC Shopian organizes special fumigation, sanitation drive

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Chaudhry Mohammad Yasin today organized a special fumigation drive in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak to avert any kind of eventuality.During the drive, public places including hospitals, government offices, masjids & other places of public importance are being cleaned & sprayed disinfectants to keep the environs clean.The DDC also launched a massive sanitation drive under which many places of public importance are being cleaned.The drive was carried as a move to ensure cleanliness in the surroundings so that any kind of risk in the wake of COVID-19 is mitigated.He directed concerned officer for installation of hand wash & sanitizers and also stressed for spray at public places for cleanliness of the town.The DDC also emphasized the need to avoid mass gathering.
