Mehraj-ul-Alam : DDC Anantnag visits Kabamarg, Khiram Dargahs, takes stock of arrangements

Asks Auqaf authorities to avoid gathering

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar today visited Kabamarg and Khiram Dargahs to take stock of the arrangements put in place for Mehraj-ul-Alam celebrations.ADDC Anantnag, Khwaja Nazir Ahmad, Executive engineer R&B and Officers of PDD, PHE, Health, FCS&CA, Municipalities and other concerned were accompanying the DDC.On the occasion, the DDC interacted with the Auqaf members at both the Dargahs who demanded uninterrupted power & water supply, proper sanitation, healthcare & transport facilities, availability of additional quota of ration and other required facilities for celebrations of the Mehraj-ul-Alam.The DDC gave them patient hearing and assured that all the facilities would be put in place well in time.He appealed the Auqaf members to avoid large gatherings to avert the spread of COVID–19 as prevailing situation does not allow large gatherings. He said that taking precautionary measures is the only way to defeat spread of infection and we must adhere to the guidelines and advisories issued by the health department.Later, the DDC visited PHC, Larkipora and took stock of the facilities available for the patients besides, reviewing arrangements put in place for generating awareness about the COVID–19.
