DDC Udhampur inspects R&B works

District Development Commissioner Dr. Piyush Singla today conducted an extensive tour of adjoining areas of Udhampur town to take the stock of various developmental works being executed by R&B department.DDC inspected the construction of EOC building, construction of quarters, Devika theme park, inspected renovation of Dak Bunglow and officer club works etc.While inspecting the ongoing works, DDC asked the R&B department to gear up men and machinery and complete the ongoing works within stipulated time frame and utilize all funds released as per the guidelines issued by the finance department from time to time.DDC asked the concerned department to give the aesthetic look to the surroundings of Dak Bunglow and develop the area in land scape . Thereafter DDC visited Panchayat  Sui to inspect the construction of roads under District plan and languish scheme and asked the department to complete the works within time line.  DDC  stressed upon all the concerned Officers to gear up the process for completion of targets and utilization of 100 % funds well before the end of financial 2019-20.
