Three more people tested positive for Covid-19, the disease caused by novel coronavirus, in Ladakh on Tuesday. Officials said two of the three new cases in Ladakh are from Leh while one is from Kargil district."Three more people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Ladakh. The total number of Covid-19 cases in Ladakh now stands at six," Ladakh Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Sampheal told Kashmir News Trust.  “All these three persons have no travel history, but their relatives have recently arrived from Iran.” He said that all the three are now in isolation at MS Sonam Norboo Memorial (SNM). "Three persons test positive for Coronavirus. They have been admitted in designated isolation ward of the hospital,” Samphel said. Meanwhile, as the cases of novel coronavirus spike, the Leh Administration announced a ban on all community events in the town and villages to prevent the spread of the lethal infection.According to sources, the ban was imposed on the orders of Administrative Secretary, in view of the growing cases of COVID-19 in the region.Pertinently, a person who had recently traveled to India from Saudi Arabia has tested positive for novel coronavirus. This is the third positive case in Jammu and Kashmir. So for there are 8 positive cases reported in Jammu and Ladakh. Three are from Jammu and five are from Ladkah. No Coronavirus case has been reported from Kashmir so for.The number of confirmed Coronovirus cases in India has risen to 126 including 17 foreign nationals.
