A free 25th eye operation camp was today organized at Gurudwara Sant Mandal Angitha Sahib in Phase - 8, Sector 62, S. A. S. Nagar under the aegis of Sant Mahinder Singh Lambeyan Wale in the memory of Late Sant Ishar Singh Lambeyan Wale.After inaugurating the camp, the Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu said that this effort being undertaken by Sant Mahinder Singh Lambeyan Wale since 25 years deserves appreciation. He announced a financial assistance of Rs. One Lakh for the Sant Baba Ishar Singh Sant Mandal Foundation.The General Secretary of the foundation Bhai Amrao Singh Lambeyan Wale disclosed that a total of 938 patients were examined free of charge by the doctors of the JP Hospital and free medicines were also distributed. Those with low vision were given free spectacles. Around 257 patients were operated upon free of cost. Besides this, the patients were also examined for blood pressure and diabetes. The entire cost of the camp is being borne by the foundation. The patients have been provided with the boarding and lodging arrangements at the Gurudwara Sahib, Ph-8.Among others present on the occasion included the Political Secretary to Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu , Mr. Harkesh Chand Sharma  and Mr. G. S. Riar.
