DDC Kupwara status of ongoing developmental projects

The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg, chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the approved projects ready for inauguration or for  laying of foundation stone in the district.The Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, Joint Director Planning, Abdul Majeed, representatives from  Health, Power, R&B, SICOP & Industries departments and other concerned attended the meeting.The meeting was informed that 4 projects under Health, Higher Education,  Industries and Road sectors approved at a cost of Rs 40.3 crore are ready for inauguration while 2 projects under Road sector at a cost of Rs 4.53 crore are ready for laying of  foundation stone including 3 projects approved at a cost of Rs 5.51 crore. Besides, 1 project at a cost of Rs 3.16 crore is ready for inauguration in Handwara. Similarly, 3 projects  at an approved cost of Rs 17.88 crore are also ready for inauguration in Tangdar.On the occasion, the DDC directed the concerned agencies to speed up the pace of work on the  projects for their timely completion.
