DDC Samba chairs DMFT meeting, Works under PMKKKY approved

District Development Commissioner Rohit Khajuria today chaired a meeting of District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) to discuss the proposal for utilization of District Mineral Fund under Pradhan Mantri Khanji Khestra Kalyan Yojana for the Financial Year 2019-20.CPO, Sukhleen Kaur, Distt. Mineral officer, Vishal, DIO Ajay Sharma, XEN PWD, CMO, DPO RDD, DSWO besides other officers were also present.The proposal submitted by District Mineral Officer was deliberated upon and the chairman DMFT directed the concerned officers to utilize the amount generated for welfare of the Mining effected population.The works proposed under the scheme, including provision of Drinking Water by installation of Hand Pumps, protection Bunds on different locations, crate works besides other welfare works received the consent of task force committee. The DC stressed upon utilizing the fund only for welfare schemes and said that diversion of funds would not be allowed.
