Media channels can play vital role in transformation of rural economy : Bandaru Dattatreya

While inaugurating the opening session of Live Event on completion of two years of Himachal Government, Governor Bandaru Dattatraya said that communication was considered as the basis of development and we could give new heights to growth by making full use of technology.He said that Media Channels could play an important role in the transformation of rural economy and urged them that such programs should also be shown with positive thinking that could benefit the farmers, youth and the society in general. He added that all governments in democracy does public welfare work, but many times people were not aware of the benefits of these programmes and schemes. In this way, news channels have an important role and he hoped that Janata TV would make special efforts in this direction to benefit the people. He said that the initiative of the government should reach to the masses and the voice of the general public could also reach the government only then the right policies would be formed and development would get the right direction.

While congratulating the Janata TV for organizing the event, the Governor said that the channel has made a bridge between the government and the people, due to which public sentiments would reach the government and the development of the state would be accelerated. This work should proceed with a positive attitude and positive spirit, he added.Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of Janata TV, Deepak Arora welcomed the Governor and said that the news channel has connected the audience to the rural level of the state during its one-year tenure.  He said that the purpose of organizing this event was to establish a dialogue between the public and the government.  He also gave information about the session related to the program.Himanshu Dwivedi, Editor-in-Chief of Janta TV, welcomed the Governor.Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj,  Mayor, Municipal Corporation Shimla, Satya Kaundal, Deputy Mayor Shailendra Chauhan and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
