Teenage is an extremely out of the ordinary chapter of one’s life whose significance could only be felt after it’s gone. On the occasion of looking at the world, there is no Hobson’s choice to make, whether it’s the school of next day or future of tomorrow, a versatile 14-year-old, Bhoomi has written her debut book, ‘A Star Girl Dies’. The book is in 2 parts where she highlights some of the sensible issues affecting a starry teenager, Angel. According to her, Life is full of uncertainties, after all. Sometimes things get really awesome and horrible sometimes, if worst comes to worst. For one of the trendiest and introvert teens, nothing is more embarrassing than making them fall on the floor during a lunch time or blocking the students’ alleyway, whereas the sunlight hours of such teen’s adversary (again teenagers only) would be much more joyful than anything else, no matter which school the teenagers go to. Some of the topics or episodes that Bhoomi writes about in her book are: regular discomfiture, triumph, decency, setbacks, struggles and peer-pressures faced by teenagers, chiefly in school. The tale is predominantly based on day to day life experience of a fresher ‘Angel’ in the teenagers’ community, who is not include in the group by her classmates. The more she shines, the less they feel pleased about her. Bhoomi is a 9th standard student studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. A librocubicularist by nature, she started writing at the age of ten. She has many victories to her credit.
