Balbir Singh Sidhu hands over cheques worth Rs. 2 Lakh to various Residents Welfare Associations

"The sphere of social welfare occupies the prime slot in the scheme of things of the Punjab Government which is fully committed to the well being and development of all the sections of the society." These views were expressed here today by the Health and Family Welfare, Labour Minister, Punjab, Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu while handing over cheques to the various residents welfare associations for carrying out development centric initiatives.The minister gave cheques worth Rs. 51000 each to the Progressive Residents Welfare Association, Phase - 1 and Mohalla Welfare Association, Phase - 1 and worth Rs. 1 lakh to the Senior Citizen Help age, Ph-6.Among others present on the occasion included the Political Secretary to the minister - Mr. Harkesh Chand Sharma Machhli Kalan, President Progressive Residents Welfare Association, Phase - 1 Mr. Swaran Singh Channi, President Mohalla Welfare Association Phase - 1 Mr. Lachhman Singh, President Senior Citizen Help age Phase - 6 Mr. Mohinder Singh, Chairman and Councillor Phase - 6 Mr. Narain Singh Sidhu, Mr. Ashok Kaundal, Advocate Sanjeev Sharma, Mr. Sunil Kumar Pinka, Mr. Surinder Sharma, Mr. Baljinder Sharma, Mr. Lakhvir Singh, Mr. P. S. Virdi, Mr. Manjit Singh Bhalla, Mr. Gurdeep Singh Gulati, Mr. V. P. Singh Bhatia, Chairman Land Mortgage Bank Kharar Mr. Dharam Singh Saini, Mr. Sawinder Singh Lakhowal, Mr. Balwinder Singh, Mr. Satwinder Singh Pabla and Mr. Satpal Singh Kachhiara.
