In order to provide governance at the door steps of people and to ensure grievance redressal mechanism at every level, the District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today conducted a maiden public interaction programmes at various places in Kangan Sub-division.The camps were held at SDM Office Kangan and Mammer and were attended by SSP Ganderbal, ADC, SDM, Executive engineer of R&B, district officers, AWQAF Committee Kangan, besides representatives of Kangan Market Traders.The public representatives on the occasion apprised the DDC about various issues related to roads, electricity, education, water supply, healthcareand other matters public important.

The Representatives of Kangan Market Traders raised the issues of sanitation and drainage in the main market.The DDC gave a patient hearing to the representatives and assured them that their genuine demands will be fulfilled at an earliest.The DDC issued on-the-spot instructions for redressal of various issues of urgent nature and directed to maintain close liaison with the local population for grievances redressal.Later, DDC visited the Fish Farm Mammer to take stock of status of the farm.
