DDC reviews road projects under PMGSY in Doda

Asks to expedite work, complete projects within fixed timeline

District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode, today convened a meeting with key officials of PMGSY department to review the financial and physical progress on ongoing projects across the district, besides taking stock of bottlenecks, if any.DDC reviewed the progress on all ongoing projects across the district and asked the executing agencies to expedite the work for completion within fixed timelines.Regarding bottlenecks, DDC directed Executive Engineers to submit list of projects mentioning the level at which the project is being held up so that the matter will be taken up with the concerned authorities for necessary action.Assessing Gatha-Dhalwali road land acquisition issue, DDC directed the ADC Bhaderwah to take up the matter with the executing agencies and resolve the matter at the earliest for timely completion of the road. He asked the ACR to ensure speedy disposal of land acquisition issue of Jangalwar Sarsi road.DDC fixed responsibility of Executive Engineers of Doda and Thathri to complete the blacktopping work in their respective divisions by the end of April 2020 without any fail.
