DDC Ganderbal takes stock of healthcare facilities in the district

DDC Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal, yesterday evening took an extensive tour of Ganderbal and Kangan towns to take stock of healthcare facilities being provided to patients at District Hospital, Ganderbal, Sub District Hospital, Kangan, and PHC Lar.The DDC inspected various wards including OPD, emergency and other wards of the health centers. He also took on spot stock of the availability of medicines and vaccines.He interacted with patients and enquired about healthcare facilities being provided to them.The DDC directed the administration of health institutions to ensure punctuality, maintain and strictly implement duty roaster of doctors and para-medical staff, especially during night hours.He also exhorted for ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation in the health institutions of the district.
