MP Abhijit Mukherjee call on CM

Abhijit Mukherjee, Member of Parliament, and son of His Excellency, the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee met Chief Minister, Shri Virbhadra Singh here today. Shri Mukherjee was accompanied by his wife and other family members. It was a courtesy call. Shri Mukherjee complimented Shri Virbhadra Singh for becoming Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh for sixth time. He hoped that State would make rapid development under his dynamic leadership. 

Chief Minister, in an informal discussion with Sh. Abhijeet, said that Himachal Pradesh was a fast developing State which had made significant strides on all fronts of development. He said that Government was endeavoured to ensure balanced and uniform development of the State. Chief Minister honoured Shri Mukherjee and his family members with Himachali cap and shawl. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Shri V.C. Pharka, Principal Private Secretary to Chief Minister, Shri Subhash Ahluwalia and Secretary GAD, Shri Bharat Khera were also present on the occasion.
