Director Census Operation and Citizen HP calls on Governor

Dr. Sushil Kapta, Director Census Operation and Citizen Himachal Pradesh called on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at Raj Bhawan Shimla, today.He gave detailed information about preparations related to census-2021 in Himachal Pradesh and said that it would be conducted in two phases in the state. He also apprised the Governor about the steps being taken by the department in association with Government of Himachal Pradesh to complete the task.The Governor appealed the people of the state to cooperate and provide information to the officials engaged in this work, so that it could be registered properly. He said that information was helpful in formulating the welfare-oriented policies of governments to the masses.Senior officers of the department were also present on the occasion.
