Pencak Silat Championship in Maharashtra, Bandipora youths win Silver medal's

Silver and Gold medals have won by three Bandipora youths in federation cup of Pencak silat which was held at Nasik Maharashtra from 7th to 10 February 2020.They have qualified for world championship in Singapore which is going on April this year.The Gold medals won by Mohd faisal rather resident of Ajas Bandipora and sabahat afreen from Nowpora Bandipora while as Silver medal have won by Aanisa Yusuf from sambal area of Bandipora.It is a proud movement for Kashmir valley especially North Kashmir's Bandipora district told Faisal Ali Who is International Coach of Martial Arts while talking to Srinagar based news Portal (KNB) .He further told youths of valley are shining day by day in sports field and mentality of parents changed here as parents mets me requested to train their wards and some may be choose to make carrier option in sports.During last couple of years no of sports players have emerged in Bandipora especially in Karate have become famous in International as well as National level majes Kashmir proud,It is mention here Fasil Ali has remarkable changed the orientation of People at North Kashmir Bandipora district.Pertinent it is mention here that Pencak Silat championship was organized first time ever in J&K by Indian Pencak silat  Federation in Colloboration ministry of youth affairs and sports, govt of India and J&K state sports council in 2018 at S.K indoor stadium Srinagar.Pencak is a fighting sport which collectively encompasses martial arts of various styles.pencak silat involves full body fighting, where any part of the body can be used and any part of the body can be attacked.This form of fighting is born in Indonesia as a means of self defense and turned into a competitive sport pencak has currently spread to many south Asian countries.
