Navin Kumar Choudhary, Pandurang Kondbarao Pole listen to people’s grievances at Jammu

Principal Secretary, Education and Technical   Education   Departments, Navin Kumar Choudhary and Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Pandurang Kondbarao Pole today listened to the people’s grievances here at PWD Guest House, Gandhi Nagar.Deputations and individuals from across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir met with the Administrative Secretaries and projected varied issues and problems being faced by them in their respective areas. A group of   Residents of Dalori and Raila villages of Tehsil Gandoh (Doda District) sought availability of Ration at a central place in their area. They pleaded that the residents of the twin villages are facing problem in availing the ration from sale depot Sinoo as it is situated over 7 Kilometers from their area. They requested for making provision for ration depot at village Kharangal, which is central place for both the villages. Another deputation of Malhar, Kathua demanded filling of vacant posts   of Lecturers and Master  in Govt. H.S.S. Malhar. They informed that against 12 posts of Lecturers and 4 posts of Masters, the school have only 5 lecturers and 2 masters, due to which the education of the students is suffering badly.A delegation of J&K polytechnic Faculty Members Association highlighted several issues and also sought implementation of all AICTE rules and regulations in the polytechnic institutions of J&K and strengthening of Training and Placement Departments.

A large number of individuals and employees from across the Jammu and Kashmir including Poonch, Ramban, Doda, Kathua and Kashmir areas  also met with the Administrative Secretaries and highlighted demands regarding food, civil supplies and service issues.Interacting with the visiting delegations, Navin Choudhary said that the government has made concerted efforts to provide all basic amenities to the people of the Jammu and Kashmir. He also gave on the spot directions regarding several issues of public importance to the concerned authorities for providing immediate succour to the people concerned.The Administrative Secretaries also asked the visiting deputations to encourage other people to project their genuine grievances and also help administration to contour developmental needs of their respective areas to get better amenities. Officers of different departments, including Sub District Magistrate, Chowki Chorura,  Chander Kishore Sharma; Deputy Director  Food, Civil  Supplies, Kulraj Singh, Tehsildar Marh,  Surinder Singh and Naib Tehsildar Miran Sahib, Parshotam lal were also present at the Public grievance redressal programme.
