DDC Anantnag Chairs Special DLRC meeting

Asks for 100% KCC coverage

The District Development Commissioner (DDC)Anantnag, Mr. Khalid Jahangir, who is also the Chairman of District Level Review Committee (DLRC), chaired a meeting of various  departments and banks to review the progress achieved under KCC, here today.The meeting was attended by JD Planning, Chief Agriculture Officer Chief Horticulture Officer,  Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Officer, officers of Fisheries department, Clusters Heads of J&K Bank, LDM Office, Branch Heads of SBI, EDBI, PNB, Yes bank,  HDFC, Canara Bank and Axis bank.The DDC on the occasion directed line department and banks to ensure 100% coverage under KCC scheme. He asked the heads of various  banks and departments to prepare data of the beneficiaries to ensure greater transparency in the sponsorship process of the cases. The departments and banks were also  asked to enrol the beneficiaries during the awareness camps for which the block wise calendar has already been chalked out.The DDC also directed the bankers to adhere to the  RBI guidelines and not to demand guarantee from the beneficiaries for a loan up to Rsonelakh.The DDC also directed the concerned departments to focus on transfer of the  cases of REGP & PMEGP through online portal to ensure transparency.

The meeting was informed that under Agriculture Sector, 48899 KCC cases have been sanctioned out of which 29386 cases stand disbursed and under animal Husbandry  against a target of 2707 sponsored cases, 1404 have been sanctioned whilean amount of Rs. 271.54 lakh have been disbursed in favour of 535 cases. Similarly under Sheep  Sector, out of 1313 sponsored cases, 456 cases have been sanctioned while 142 cases stand disbursed for an amount of 158.70 lakh.  Likewise, under Fisheries sector, out of  31 sponsored cases, 27 cases have been sanctioned, 20 stand disbursed for an amount of Rs, 42.18 lakh. Under backyard Poultry, out of 83 sponsored cases, 52 cases stand  sanctioned and 14 disbursed for an amount of Rs. 28.63 lakh.With regard to sponsoring of cases, it was given out that out of the total of 4134 cases, 218 cases have been  allotted to SBI, 3599 to J&K Bank and 317 to EDBI, out of which SBI sanctioned 10 cases, J&K bank 1885 and EDBI 45 cases. A total disbursement of Rs501.05 lakh has been  made so for which includes Rs. 4 lakh by SBI, Rs474.35 lakh by J&K bank, and Rs22.70 lakh by EDBI.
