DC Baramulla chairs special DLRC meeting

Deputy Commissioner (DC)Baramulla, GN Itoo today convened a special District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting to discuss modalities for the coverage of all farmers  under Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme.On the occasion, Lead District Manager, Mohammad Shameem informed the meeting that 124733 Kisan Credit Cards have beenissued till  ending September.The DC directed the horticulture authorities to provide land data to the concerned banks to ensure enrolment of the farmers under the scheme and asked them  to ensure cent per cent coverage of the farmers up tp this March.Joint director planning, Chief Agriculture Officer, Lead Bank manager, representatives of financial institutions  operating in the district and other concerned attended the meeting.
