MLAs, DC and CP hold meeting for celebrating state level function to mark parkash utsav of Sri Guru Ravidass ji

In order to ensure that the upcoming state level function to commemorate parkash utsav of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj ji was observed in an unsurpassed manner, the district administration has constituted several committees.A decision to this effect was taken during meetings held at District Administrative Complex and Sri Guru Ravidass Bhawan Link Road in which MLAs Mr Sushil Kumar Rinku,Mr Rajinder Beri and Chaudhary Surinder Singh, Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr Gurpreet Singh Bhullar were also present.During the meeting, it was decided that several committees like venue, reception, publicity, law and order besides others have been constituted under senior officers to streamline the arrangements of this mega event.The MLAs, Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Police said that elaborate arrangements would be made to make this event a huge success. They also asked all the officers to impart their duty zealously so that people could participate in this event with full religious gaiety and enthusiasm.The MLAs, Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Police said that the mega event would be held at Sri Guru Ravidass Bhawan, Link Road on Sunday (February 9). They said that the event would be a humble and befitting tribute to Sri Guru Ravidass ji Maharaj and to perpetuate the life and teachings of this great Guru.They further said that this was a path breaking initiative of Punjab government led by the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, which was committed for strengthening communal harmony and brotherhood in the state.On the occasion Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr Jasbir Singh, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Jalandhar Ms Babita Kaler, Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr Naresh Dogra, Senior Deputy Mayor Mrs Surinder Kaur, Additional Deputy Commissioners of Police Mr Ashwani Kumar and Mr PS Bhandall, Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr HS Bhalla, Revenue Officer Mr Shishpal, Mr Manohar Lal and Mr Vijay Kumar, Medical Officer Dr Gurmeet Duggal, Principal Mr RL Sally, Mr Sohan Lal, and others.
