DDC inspects ongoing work of Teaching Hospital, GMC Doda

District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today visited District Hospital Doda and Ghat to inspect the ongoing works of Teaching Hospital near DH Doda and GMC Ghat respectively.DDC was accompanied by SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed, SP Operations R P Singh, Executive Engineer PWD, Administrative Officer GMC Doda, MS District Hospital besides official of executing agencies and district administration.The DDC was informed that the foundation of the teaching hospital has been completed and erection of the column structure has been started.DDC directed the executing agencies to draft a chart and fixed the timeline so that the whole structure could be completed by the end of June 2020.Later, DDC visited Ghat and inspected the ongoing work of GMC Doda. The DDC was apprised that block masonry work has been completed and plastering work is on completion stage.Executive Engineer PWD informed the DDC that the structure of 3 lecture halls has been completed and construction of boys hostel is on completion stage, besides construction of boundary wall is ongoing.DDC directed the executing agencies to work on double shifts and increase the number of skilled labourers to meet out the timelines, besides he asked the GMC authorities to review the progress on fortnight basis and to submit the progress report accordingly.
