DC Ramban reviews progress of grievance redressal

Deputy Commissioner, Nazim Zai Khan today convened a meeting to review progress and mechanism of public grievance redressal in the district.DC reviewed the status and action taken on the issues of general public pertaining to the various departments including Education, Rural Development, Horticulture, Power Development, Public Works, Public Health Engineering and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs departments through concerned officers.DDC was appraised by the concerned that most of the grievances have been disposed off. He asked the officers to resolve public issues on priority basis and ensure disposal of files and applications well in time.DDC said that all the pending grievances must be examined by the concerned officer of each department within prescribed time.  He also directed the officers to conduct extensive tours in their respective jurisdictions so that the important issues of the area can be redressed effectively.Executive Engineers PHE, Irrigation, PMGSY and PDD, CHO, AD, FCS and CA, Deputy CEO, AD Panning, RDD besides officers of PWD and other district officers attended the meeting.
