A Multi Departmental District Level Task Force cell met under the chairmanship of DDC, Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, to deliberate upon the various aspects of mining activities in the District, here today.The committee discussed various issues including identification of sites beyond boundaries of lease holds and imposition of penalties for illegal.DDC directed for constitution of monitoring teams and flying squads to put an end to illegal mineral extraction in the district.The meeting was attended by JD-Planning, Executive Engineer,  Flood Control, Executive Engineer, Irrigation, DFO, MO and DMO.
