No stone to be left unturned to transform Mohali into an industrial hub : Balbir Singh Sidhu

Economy can only grow in communion with other social sectors : Manish Tewari

"The city of Mohali is fast emerging as a model for other cities to emulate in terms of development and no stone would be left unturned to transform it into a hub of industry with strong infrastructure." These views were expressed here today by the Health and Family Welfare, Labour Minister, Punjab, Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu during the course of an interactive session organized by the Mohali Industries Association (MIA).The minister further said that not only industry but the healthcare sector would also receive equal significance in Mohali in order to achieve the goal of sustained overall development. In his address, the Member of Parliament from Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency Mr. Manish Tewari said that the economic sphere cannot grow on isolation and it is the need of the hour that all the economic development takes place in perfect communion with the other allied social sectors.Both Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu and Mr. Manish Tewari reiterated their commitment and assured the Mohali Industries Association for providing every necessary assistance to ensure that the industrial sector faces no hurdle in its march forward in Mohali.A rain water harvesting system was also inaugurated on the occasion and besides that the directory of MIA was also released. Among others present on the occasion included the ex minister Mr. Jagmohan Singh Kang, MLA Sri Hargobindpur Mr. Balwinder Singh, President Mohali Industries Association Mr. Yogesh Sagar, Chairman Punjab Large Industrial Development Board Mr. Pawan Diwan, Director Industries and Commerce, Punjab, Mr. Sibin C, and Labour Commissioner Mr. Praveen Thind.
