Chairperson, National Commission for Backward Classes meets Lt Governor

Dr. Bhagwan Lal Sahni, Chairperson, National Commission for Backward Classes today met Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu here at the Raj Bhavan.The Lt Governor and Dr. Sahni discussed a range of issues pertaining to the protection, welfare, development and advancement of backward classes.The Lt Governor urged Dr Sahni to continue his sustained endeavours towards promoting the socio-economic development of the socially and educationally backward classes and evaluating the progress of their development across the country.
