The leading engineering college of Punjab, Gulzar Group of Institutes is highly honoured to organize a National Conference on “Recent Trends in Nanotechnology and Its Applications (RTNA) – 2013”.The event took place at the college campus. It is a high-tech Academic Meet where the latest theoretical and technological advances on Nano-science and Nanotechnology would be presented and discussed. The applications of Nanostructures, Nanoassemblies and Nanomaterials and to such domains as nanochemistry, nanophysics, nanoelectronics, astronomy, biology, environment Science, computer hardware, Nanodevices, Medical & Health Care and high-tech education are among topics of relevance to RTNA-2013.Eminent professors from well-known universities of India like Kurukshetra University (Kurukshetra, Haryana), IIT ( Roorkee, Uttrakhand), Jiwaji University (Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh ), DCRUST, (Murthal, Haryana), M R University ( Faridabad, Haryana), DRDO( New Delhi), LPU( Jalandhar, Punjab), Maharshi Dayanand University (Rohtak, Haryana), Punjab University (Chandigarh, Punjab), LCET( Ludhiana, Punjab), GND University( Amritsar, Punjab), NIT( Kurukshetra, Haryana), Punjab Agricultural University( Ludhiana, Punjab) and Punjab Technical University( Jalandhar, Punjab)made their presence felt at this MEGA EVENT.
Speaking on the significance of Nanotechnology Gurkirat Singh, Executive Director, Gulzar Group of institutes said, “RTNA-2013 promotes fundamental research and developments occurring in various fields of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
