Member Parliament Namgyal meets Lt Governor

Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Member of Parliament, Ladakh today met Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu here at the Raj Bhavan here.Sh. Namgyal discussed with the Lt Governor a range of issues related to the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh including rationalization of staff in Government run departments, division of assets and transfer of staff hailing from Ladakh and currently deputed in Medical Department in J&K.Sh. Namgyal requested the Lt Governor for the continuation of the reservation of students from ST Category belonging to Ladakh in educational institutions across J&K.The Lt Governor and Sh. Namgyal also discussed about the developmental aspirations of people of the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and various other issues relating to public welfare.
