Newly appointed Chairman of District Planning Committee Mr. Vijay Sharma Tinku today assumed the charge of his office in the presence of Punjab Cabinet Minister Mr. Charanjit  Singh Channi & Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu and MLA Amrik Singh Dhillon in District Administrative Complex. Mr. Bharat Inder Singh Chahal, Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab and Mr.  Deepinder Singh Dhillon, President, District Congress Committee have also accompanied them to congratulate Mr. Sharma on this occasion.Addressing the media persons on the  sidelines of the function, both the ministers congratulated Mr. Sharma and said that he and his entire family has been associated with the party since long time and always  dedicatedly rendered their services for the betterment of the party. By appointing him as chairman of the district planning committee, the government has well paid off for his hard  work. They hoped that Mr. Sharma's appointment as Chairman will streamline and accelerate development works in the district.Meanwhile, Mr. Vijay Sharma expressing his  gratitude towards Captain Amarinder Singh for his appointment as Chairman, adding that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister, no stone would be left upturned for the  development in the district.
