Around 1800 complaints and demands received during Jan Manch

The Jan Manch was organised in ten districts of the state today barring snow bound districts of Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti. As per the reports received at the state headquarters, around 1800 complaints and demands were received during the programmes and most of them were disposed off on the occasion in the presence of Ministers who presided over the Jan Manch.
District Chamba
In Chamba district, Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh presided over the function organised at Sahu. In all, 359 demands and complaints were received during the programme and most of them were settled on the spot. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the state government has launched Sahara scheme to provide treatment facility to the members of poor families suffering from critical ailments and they are also being provided financial assistance of Rs. 2000 per month. He said that the government has enhanced the social security pension and the age for availing the old age pension has been reduced to 70 years.MLAs Pawan Naiyar and Vikram Singh Jaryal were also present on this occasion.
District Hamirpur
In Hamirpur district, the programme was organised at Bhoranj where 135 complaints were presented and maximum were disposed off on the spot. Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj while presiding over the function said that Jan Manch was proving an effective tool for good governance. Now, taking a step ahead, the state government has started CM Helpline to ensure early redressal of the people problems.More than 225 people availed the facility of free medical camp organised by the Health department.Local MLA Kamlesh Kumari was also present on this occasion.
District Solan
Town and Country Planning and Housing Minister Sarveen Chaudhary while presiding over the Jan Manch at Bhumati in Arki Assembly constituency of Solan district urged the people to participate in the Gram Sabha meetings so that the eligible person could be identified for taking benefit of various welfare schemes of the government and ensuring the redressal of their problems.During the programme, 147 complaints were received and most of them were disposed off on the spot.
District Kullu
In Kullu district, the Jan Manch was held at Bajora where Agriculture Minister Dr. Ram Lal Markanda urged the farmers to adopt natural farming and said that the stalls of farmers engaged in natural farming would be set up at various places in the state so that they could get remunerative price of their products. He also appealed the people to take maximum benefit of CM Helpline scheme 1100 to resolve their complaints at the earliest.As many as 105 demands and complaints were received during the programme out of which 92 were resolved on the occasion.
District Shimla
While presiding over the function at Shoghi Shimla district, Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar said that Rs. 51.33 crore have been spent on providing treatment facility to 54282 patients under Him Care scheme in the state. He said that 5.50 lakh families have been registered under the scheme in the state while three lakh families have been covered under Ayushman Bharat Yojana.As many as 68 complaints and 72 demands were received during the Jan Manch.MLA Vikrmaditya Singh and district Shimla BJP President Ravi Mehta were also present on the occasion.
District Una
The Jan Manch was organised at Lathiyani in Kutlehar constituency of Una district which was presided over by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar. In all 93 cases were received during the Jan Manch while 74 complaints and demands were received earlier.Virender Kanwar said that Kutlehar Tourism Development Society has been formed to ensure tourism development in Kutlehar and lake festival would be organised next month in Govind Sagar lake to promote tourism in the area.
District Mandi
Industries Minister Bikram Singh while presiding over the function at Hathgarh in Nachan Assemble constituency of Mandi district said that the state government was making efforts to boost the industrial sector and providing employment opportunities to the youth. He said the government is also endeavouring to develop new industrial zones in the state and an industrial area would also be developed in Nachan area after availability of land. He said that the state government has provided free LPG connections to 2.62 families of the state.Around 350 demands and complaints were received during the Jan Manch out of which 260 were redressed on the Spot.MLA Vinod Kumar was also present on the occasion.
District Kangra
Forest and Transport Minister Govind Singh Thakur presided over the Jan Manch at Daulatpur in Kangra district. As many as 66 demands and complaints were received out of which 50 were redressed on the spot. It was informed during the programme that 62 cases were received during Pre-Jan Manch and all have been settled. The Minister distributed FDs and certificates to the beneficiaries.MLA Arun Mehra was also present on the occasion.
District Bilaspur
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal said that the Jan Manch has become a platform to serve the people and it has helped in bridging the gap between people and the government. He was presiding over the Jan Manch at Panjgain in Bilapsut district.He said that the state government has launched various welfare schemes to benefit all sections of the society. He said Himachal Pradesh has become the first state of the country to provide LPG connections to all families of the state. He added that the Himcare scheme of the state government has come up as a boon to the poor families as they are being provided free medical treatment facility up to five lakh rupees.As many as 273 demands and complaints were received during the programme.MLA Subhash Thakur was also present on the occasion.
District Sirmaur
Deputy Speaker, HP Vidhan Sabha Hansraj presided over the function at Amboya in Paonta Assembly constituency of Sirmaur district. 153 demands and complaints were presented during the function. He distributed various certificates to the beneficiaries and also appreciated the district administration for making polybricks out of plastic and polythene.
