ADC Budgam reviews implementation of various schemes

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Budgam, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani today chaired a meeting of officers to review the implementation of various centrally sponsored schemes.Among others, the meeting was attended by CEO, ACD, AD Panning, DIO, DSWO, Immunization Officer and other concerned.Reviewing the functioning of Agricultural department, the ADC directed the concerned to organize training programmes for smooth implementation of Climate Change Resilient Program.He was informed  that a target of 14,820 has been achieved under PM Mandhaan Yojna while as 69,453 beneficiaries have been covered under PM Kisan, so far.It was given out that the district has registered notable success in implementation of MGNREGA, PMAY and CD Panchayat schemes.He directed the concerned to ensure timely completion of all works and asked for submission of estimates of CD Panchayat works within 3 day.While reviewing the Education department, he was informed that 35,000 students have been registered under pre and post-matric scholarships. ADC impressed upon the concerned to ensure registration of all deserving students so that they also can avail the benefits of the schemes. It was also given out that under Ayushman Bharat against the target of 70005, as many as 52282 deserving beneficiaries have been registered so far and 43295 golden cards have been issued. It was revealed that 2205 beneficiaries have availed the benefits to the tune of Rs 73 lac.Reviewing the implementation of Social Welfare schemes, the meeting was informed that 12997 beneficiaries have been covered under NSAP scheme. ADC urged the concerned to ensure that 12000 pending cases are covered at an earliest. The meeting was further informed that out of 60000 targeted beneficiaries, 50000 have been registered under various schemes across the district.
