Ajay Sharma, doing research on fundamental laws of physics since past 38 years i.e. since 1982 when he was of 19 and student of BSc. II. Now after years his work on Newton’s Third Law of Motion is being recognized by national and international scientific community, just some experiments are needed for final confirmation. Regarding this we talked to him.

Q1.  Ajay, you are requesting that –Prime Minister give me laboratory, I will give INDIA Nobel Prize in Physics. Last time for work on Indian soil Nobel Prize was given to Dr C V Raman in 1930.

Ajay: Yes I mean it.  I have modified Newton’s Third Law of Motion. Scientists all over the world agree to this. This is basis of my claim.

Q2 . Newton’s Third Law of Motion is fundamental law. What is the opinion of scientists on the  new experiments suggested by you ?

Ajay :  In his report on 22 August 2018 , Professor Gordon P Ramsey , President of American Association of Physics Teachers  has clearly written that  Newton’s third law of motion can be modified in the experiments suggested by  Ajay Sharma.. Newton’s third law of motion neglects the shape of body. It is its biggest limitation. In October 2019, National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi (laboratory of Council of scientific and Industrial Research situated in Delhi)  has written the same thing in the detailed report. The laboratory has asked me to send complete project for experiments. The various scientists all over the world  agree that Newton’s third law can be modified in such SHAPE based experiments.

Q3 : Where are you going in the month of January 2020 to present paper titled ‘Newton’s third law of motion generalized.’

Ajay :  I am going to Bangalore  to present paper in 107th Indian Science Congress . I have presentation on 6th January 2020.

Q4 : Now you tell us what is Newton’s third law of Motion?

Ajay : According to Newton’s third law of motion - to every action there is equal and opposite reaction.  Newton has given this law in his book the Principia, in 1686.

Q5. :  You claim that Newton’s third law of motion, does not account for the SHAPE of body. It is its limitation. How will you elaborate it?

Ajay :   The law does not account for the SHAPE of body.  It is its important limitation. Suppose we have body of rubber of mass 1kg.  It have different shapes. For example sphere, semi-sphere , cone, triangle , rectangle , flat, irregular SHAPE. Let spherical rubber body is dropped from the height of 1m on the floor. After striking, it rebound to height of 1m.  Thus action and reaction are equal and opposite. This example is mentioned in the textbooks. But the other bodies of different SHAPES do not rebound to original height. Thus action and reaction are different for bodies of different SHAPES. Thus reaction depends on SHAPE of body. Thus SHAPE is significant factor in third law of motion. Such cases are not discussed in existing literature.

Q6 : How do you explain the limitation of third law of motion?

Ajay :  For explanation the law has been modified. According to modified form of the law- ‘the action is not equal to reaction but proportional to each other.’  Due to this an additional factor or coefficient comes in equations. This factor accounts for SHAPE of body.

Q7 : So now where is difficulty in experiments?

Ajay:  For the whole life, I have taught physics in school-college level.  I have no experimental facilities. The experiments would be finally deciding.I humbly request hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narender Modi ji, Hon’ble Science and Technology Minister  Dr Harsh Vardhan ji, Hon’ble Chief Minister Sh. Jai Ram ji, Hon’ble Education Minister Sh.  Suresh Bhardwaj ji that – provide me experimental laboratory, I will Nobel Prize  for INDIA in physics.
