Malkit Singh Dakha Assumes Office As Chairman Of District Planning Board Ludhiana Today

Former Congress Minister Malkit Singh Dakha today assumed the charge of Chairman of District Planning Board Ludhiana in the presence of senior Congress leaders at his office, here today. Mr Dakha assumed the charge in presence of cabinet minister Mr Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, MP Mr Mohd Sadiq, MLAs Mr Amrik Singh Dhillon, Mr Rana Gurjit Singh, Mr Gurkirat Singh Kotli, Mr Kuldeep Singh Vaid, Mr Lakhbir Singh Lakha, Political Secretary to CM Punjab Capt Sandeep Singh Sandhu, besides several others.While speaking on the occasion, Mr Malkit Singh Dakha said that he will perform his new duty with full dedication and honesty. He also thanked the Chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh and senior party leadership for posing faith in him. He further said that the funds will be spent on the development of urban and rural areas by district planning Board.Prominent among those present on the occasion included Ludhiana Improvement Trust Chairman Mr Raman Balasubramaniam, Chairman Mr Pawan Dewan, Chairman Mr KK Bawa, Chairman Mr Amarjit Singh Tikka, Dr Tajinder Singh, senior congress leader Mr Major Singh Bhaini, Prof Gurbhajan Singh Gill, Mr TPS Sandhu, besides several others.
