A delegation of Laghu Udhyog Bharti, today called on Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu here at the Raj Bhavan.The delegation led by its President Sh. Rajinder Gupta apprised the Lt Governor about the present industrial scenario of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and issues being faced by the existing industry particularly in the marketing of finished products to the Government departments/agencies.The delegation also highlighted various issues related to purchases through GeM portal by Government departments and incentive packages for existing as well as new industries and a host of other issues plaguing the industrial sector.The Lt. Governor assured that all the genuine demands and issues put forth by the delegation would be looked into and redressed at the earliest.
