Former VCs of Advisory Board for Development of Kissans and OBC Board call on Lt Governor

Daljit Singh Chib, former Vice Chairman, Advisory Board for Development of Kissans and Sh. Rashpaul Verma, former Vice Chairman, Advisory Board for Welfare and Development of OBC’s called on the Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.The former VCs apprised the Lt Governor about the issues pertaining to the speedy assessment and compensation to the farmers for the damage of crops due to untimely rains, construction of Procurement Mandis at different districts for the benefits of farmers, extension of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna and procurement of Basmati Rice on Minimum Support Price (MSP).The Lt. Governor interacted with the former VCs and assured that all the genuine issues projected by them will be taken up for examination and early redressal.
