DDC Kathua reviews implementation of Self Help Group of Engineer's Scheme

District Development Commissioner, O.P Bhagat today convened a meeting  with different government departments/agencies/autonomous bodies/corporations where the Self Help Groups are authorized to take works within the prescribed limit of work quota. The DDC, who is also a Chairman of the committee held a detailed discussion with the concerned departments.DDC sought department wise details of works allotted to SHG for execution during the year 2019-20 & directed the officers of different Government Departments /Agencies /Autonomous Bodies /Corporations for implementation of 30% of work contract quota for Self Help Group of Engineers in letter & spirit. He also issued instructions to the officers for release of pending payments of the SHG at the earliest.The meeting was attended by the ADC Kathua, Ghanshyam Singh, Chief Planning Officer Kathua  Uttam  Singh,  XEN. Flood Control Om Raj,  Xen. PWD (R&B) Kathua Rajan Gupta, Xen. PWD (R&B) Basholi K.S Nathyal, AEE Urban & Local Bodies Kathua Ram Lal , XEN.  RCC Lower Div. Hiranagar, Rajesh Kumar, XEN.  RCC Upper Div. RTIC Kathua, Sudesh Kumar, XEN PDD Kathua Mohammed Shafi, Deputy Director Employment D.C Bhatti, besides officer & officials of employment department and Group leaders of SHG registered with DE&CC Kathua.
