12th Smt. Santosh Puri Memorial Table -Tennis Tournament

On account of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Jagat Jyoti Sr. sec. school, 12th interschool table tennis tournament has been organised in the memory of Smt. Santosh Puri (Founder, Jagat Jyoti School) in the school premises. The programme was presided over by Mr. Mukesh Puri (Director, Jagat Jyoti School). Sh. OP Soni (Cabinet Minister, Punjab) was the chief guest of the ceremony. He inaugurated the tournament. In total 13 schools are participating in the Tournament under two events i.e. under 14, and under 18. The programme was started by prayer to Maa-Saraswati and participants have taken the oath as per the rule of sports. Mr. Mukesh Puri has given a momento as a mark of honour to the Chief Guest. Sh. OP Soni inspired the students to take part in the games along with studies.Principal Vanita Puri, Director Sumit Puri, Ritesh Puri, Mr. Abhishek Puri, Mohit Kundra (National Player, Rohit Mahajan (Secretary, Distt. Table Tennis Association), Kanav Khanna (Chief Referee), Nakkash Mehra National Player, Neha Soni, Anurag, Divya Nagar, Sumit, Sahil, Mohit and Sunil, all were present in the ceremony. Sh. J.S. Nagpal, Sh. Aneja, Smt. Vanita Kakkar, Mr. Abhinav Puri and all the staff members have made the ceremony memorable.Results of quarter final: Spring Dale Beats DAV Public (3-2), Jagat Jyoti Beats Holy Heart (3-0), SL Bhavan II beats senior Study II(3-0) to enter semi finals
