District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer today visited SDH Pampore and took stock of the quality health services and medical facilities being provided to the patients here.He inspected various sections of the hospital including emergency, operation theatre, Dental section, X-ray, Gynae and Post Operation ward and took stock of the medical facilities being provided to the patients. He inquired about the availability of medicines and other facilities in the hospital.He directed concerned drug  controller officials for the inspection of medical shops to check the quality and expiry dates of medicines.On the occasion, locals apprised the DDC about various issues faced by people due to traffic congestion on hospital Road, staff dearth and non-availability of parking area in the hospital premises. The DDC directed Tehsildar for constituting a committee for transfer of 4 kanals of land under BDO'S Office to Hospital Administration. Later, DDC inspected the Sports stadium and directed the concerned officials for its renovation.Dr Raghav also inspected the Tehsil Office Kakapora and BDO Office Newa where he checked the attendance of employees.  Tehsildar, BDO Pampore and other officers and officials accompanied the DDC.
