DDC Udhampur flags off farmers training tour programme

District Development Commissioner Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla today flagged off a tour programme organised by the Department of Agriculture Sub Division Udhampur for training of farmers with in Union Territory from Agriculture Office Complex Udhampur.Chief Agriculture Officer Udhampur, Satish Bhagat informed that a team of 40 farmers of district Udhampur is participating in the training programme in which they shall be imparted training at KVK Reasi regarding organic farming, integrated farming system, vegetable farming and new technology in agriculture sector.  Besides this the farmers shall be given the first hand knowledge of latest techniques at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Reasi.While addressing the farmers, DDC Udhampur asked the participants to avail benefit of this opportunity. He further said that such training programmes would prove as a boon for the development of the agriculture sector in the district.
