DC Rajouri visits Boys Pahari Hostel

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Nazir Sheikh on visited Government Pahari Hostel for boys in Rajouri to inspect the facilities being provided to the inmates.DDC was accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri Yougal Manhas, Deputy Director Planning Bilal Mir and other senior officers of the concerned department.Hostel Warden, Shahbaz Khan briefed the DC about prevailing scenario in the hostel with immediate need to repair the hostel mess which was in dilapidated condition earlier and received more damages in recent rainfall.He also put forth the need of additional bathrooms before the DC besides immediate requirement of financial aid to carry out necessary repairs in the hostels.DC announced two lakh rupees for immediate repairs of the hostel. He directed planning section to submit a report over damaged condition of hostel mess so that it's re-construction or repair work can be taken up on immediate basis to facilitate around one hundred and fifty students living in the hostel.Deputy Commissioner also announced to provide chairs for sitting in hostel mess and assured the hostel students that all required repairs will be carried out in the hostel to solve their problems. One hundred blankets were also handed over to the inmates of the hostel.
