DDC Pulwama chairs KLC meet

District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer, today convened a meeting to take stock of KLC funds expenditure here today.During the meeting, the DDC sought latest status of availability of KLC funds in the district. Proposals and identification of works available under KLC funds amounting to Rs. 31.00 crore in 22 villages of the district was also discussed.Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that KLC funds should be utilized as per premise of work selected by the local community.He stressed upon the concerned officers to expedite the pace of works in utilizing the compensation amount for the developmental activities of rural areas.The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Development, BDOs and other concerned.
