Bandaru Dattatraya interacts with members of BBNIA

Governor Bandaru Dattatraya today interacted with the members of Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Industries Association (BBNIA) at Baddi in Solan District. On this occasion, the  Governor expressed happiness that BBNIA is the largest industrial chamber of the State representing industries in BBN area and representing small medium enterprises as well as  large scale industries including multi-national companies. He was apprised that BBN has been established in 318 square kilometre area contributing in the economic development  of the state. It has nine industrial areas and 15 industrial clusters.Shri Dattatraya expressed satisfaction that nearly 2202 industries in the area contribute to 70 percent of the  state's investment and 95 percent of the micro small medium enterprise. Approximately 2.75 lakh direct employments have been given to youth in various industries and BBN is  also contributing 18 percent in state's GDP. 

He said that state government was committed to promote industrial growth in the state. Stressing on the expansion and development of industries in the state, he said that the  state government was seriously considering the concerns of industrialists and was providing them many facilities and better environment to establish industries here.Earlier,  Shailesh Aggarwal, former President, BBNIA welcomed the Governor on the occasion and detailed about various development activities towards the industrial growth in the state.  He also raised few demands regarding rail network, trauma centre facility and infrastructural development.Rajinder Guleria, member of BBNIA gave power point presentation  regarding the status of Industrial Association.Dr. Rajeev Gupta, President, Himachal Drug Manufacturing Association proposed a vote of thanks.K.C. Chaman, Deputy  Commissioner, Solan, Vinod Kumar, CEO, BBNDA, Rohit Malpani, SP Baddi and representatives of Industrial Association were also present on the occasion.
